- Providing business registration documents (“Form A”), tax certificates, and evidence of active business activities (invoices, shipping documents).
- Confirmations of in-service training in Germany (to justify training visas).
9.2 Ghanaian Universities and Authorities
Ghanaian universities/colleges can assist by:
- Issuing original diplomas and transcripts.
- Providing confirmations of student status, mandatory internships, and study leaves.
- Issuing letters of recommendation (especially for scholarship programs).
Local authorities such as the Births and Deaths Registry or notaries issue/correct certificates and legalizations that are important for family reunification and document verification.
9.3 German Employers
German employers play a central role in skilled worker and Blue Card procedures:
- Drafting detailed employment contracts specifying job duties, salary, working hours, and place of work.
- Completing the “Declaration regarding a contract of employment” forms for work visas.
- Assisting with the recognition of foreign qualifications (ANABIN, ZAB assessment).
- Participating in the expedited skilled worker procedure at the Foreigners’ Registration Office to shorten processing times.
9.4 German Family Members
In cases of family reunification, German family members or those living in Germany provide support through, among other things:
